SIG Ireland Group had a clear vision: to ensure the seamless continuation of their website's static hosting after Strattic’s services would shut down at the end of 2024. To achieve this, they needed a new infrastructure that would maintain the security and performance of their website, handling large volumes of traffic with zero downtime.
The primary challenge SIG Ireland Group faced was maintaining the highest level of website security and performance.
With thousands of weekly visitors, the stakes were high. Any downtime or security breaches could lead to lost revenue and damage to their reputation. They needed a reliable infrastructure that guaranteed a seamless user experience and bulletproof security without sacrificing speed or accessibility.
In response, we crafted an entirely new workflow tailored to SIG’s specific needs. We built a WordPress instance that generates a static version of the website, optimized for both security and performance.
This static version is automatically deployed to an AWS S3 bucket, which is integrated with an Amazon Cloudfront distribution.
This CDN setup ensures the website is not only faster but also secure and resilient against any potential threats or downtime, providing enterprise-level performance.
The result was a high performing and more secure website, delivering a seamless experience to thousands of weekly visitors. SIG Ireland Group was thrilled with the results, appreciating the significant improvements in website speed, security, accessibility and SEO.
